SHPFA EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS
PRESIDENT
is responsible for the general management of the organization and working closely with Signal Hill school's Principal, staff and parents to achieve the SHPFA mission while assisting Board VPs and committee chairs. He/She will ensure events adhere to school policy and expectations. He/She is committed to understanding and addressing parents and staff concerns as he/she relate to SHPFA-sponsored events, and will welcome new ideas to provide opportunity for communication and planning, and schedule regular meetings.

1ST VICE PRESIDENT: SCHOOL SPIRIT, COMMUNITY VALUES, EDUCATION
organize several events aimed at promoting school spirit and providing opportunities for our children to "give back." Projects include planning assemblies, Martin Luther King Day, School Supply Orders, Alicia Rose Bandana Sale, Book Fair, Science Day and Spirit Wear Sales.

2ND VICE PRESIDENT: FUNDRAISING
is tasked with all fundraising events, but will look forward to the support of Signal Hill's faculty and parent community. Fundraising events include Boxtops4education, Color-a-thon, Square1 Art, Signal Hill Celebrity Scoop to name a few.

3RD VICE PRESIDENT: SOCIAL COMMITTEE
reminds us all to have some fun! Helps us to say thank you several times during the school year. Events include Movie Morning, Staff Appreciation, 5th Grade Luncheon and Game Day, 100 Days, Roller Skating Night, Book Fair Preview, Teacher Cookie Exchange, etc.

SECRETARY
oversees all communications, including the Weekly Bulletin to the SHPFA Community, and capturing Board Meeting minutes. Is also tasked to be our Facebook Page Administrator and Webmaster of our very own website. A key responsibility is the publication of the Signal Hill School Yearbook from the cover art competition, selling boosters, and coordinating page creation to sending it to print before delivering it to excited students on the last day of school.

CO TREASURERS
are chiefly responsible for SHPFA's finances and providing financial information to support decision making. Regular duties include accounts receivable/payable, banking, and maintaining SHPFA's non profit status. Each year, the treasurers will provide budget and expense advice for each SPHFA event and provide regular budget reports to the Board.

LIAISONS
are our primary connection between SHPFA and Signal Hill's Room Parents and Teachers. The Liaison will support Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Family and Giving Tree. They also help the Board to understand any concern among the parent community or teachers, alert us to any immediate needs of the teachers or staff and help the Board celebrate the successes of Signal Hill students.
